Will you or your organization be one of the "ones" who will help us move mountains? We have a particular mountain in mind - the mountain of keeping the youth in our community involved with our organized baseball league. With very limited funding and a small amount of volunteers, we have been able to provide our young citizens with alternative after school choices and activities. From coaches to players and volunteers, we promote a "family friendly" environment in which we thrive on the success of unity, diversity and fair sportsmanship.
The intent of this letter is to urge you to consider our financial needs. Our tax-deductible needs use a smaller percentage of many corporate donations, less than 98% of all other registered charitable foundations. Your dollar goes further here. Because we use them in our local community and because we are sure you want it that way. You can be a part of this satisfying and important work. Best of all, you know that your hard-earned and generous contribution is taken seriously and goes directly to the purpose for which you intend it! To support the youth of today, who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
We, along with George Eliot, believe that "the strongest principle of growth lies in human choice". Now we want to give you a choice. This year when you consider a donation, you can choose how your money is spent. On the enclosed forms, you can check off the area you wish to target or arrange to participate with committed funding from your business, practice or profession. This will allow us to better fulfill the monetary obligations we incur while providing services to the children of our community. No gift is obligated, yet we can't help to hope that you will respond with a generous donation. More than ever, we need to keep up the momentum we are attempting to establish in order to achieve a resourceful and accessible form of revenue for future generations to come.
What separates us from other Little League Organizations is the fact that we do not turn any child away, regardless of their financial status or situation. In consideration of our demographic location, we are the least expensive Little League Organization in Central Florida. Our intent is to provide children with opportunities they would not otherwise be granted with. With this in mind, I pray the spirit of generosity and cooperation overwhelms you as you consider our needs.
